![]() This chainsaw features a reduced-emission engine technology, which lowers fuel consumption as well as emissions maintaining good cutting speed. It is still light but you can risk some heavier jobs. Packed with new technologythe STIHL MS 181 chainsaw is designed to reduce vibrations, making it more comfortable to operateall at a value price. I would recomend something more in the 40cc range. Just read about testing the Dolmar 420(same as the Makita) by Blsnelling(a modder here)! You won't hesitate a second. Makita has merged with Dolmar and is selling Dolmar in blue in many parts in the world under the Makita brand name. My personal favorite would be the Dolmar/Makita. If money was the factor of choice I'd go with Efco! Best bang for the buck. Hitachi has merged with Tanaka so it can be expected that you get quality.įor the money the Efco can't be beat. But if you hang out here a little bit and begin using the search function there is nothing you will not be able to do by yourself and if uncertain you have a whole bunch of geeks out here who are happy to help you out. Nowerdays it is easy to get spare parts over the internet, finding a small engine repair shop is the difficult part of the equation. Most people here would recomend a second saw in that situation and not a special brand. I presume you are not dependant on your saw for a living. You have not described your exact intentions here, so a good recommondation is hard to give. ![]()
